The general principle<\/h2>\n<p>You pay nothing until you request a shipment or a service, and you see every fee before you pay. What you paid for a service that <b>has not started yet<\/b> is refunded to you in full; and what you paid for a service that <b>has been carried out<\/b> (the shipment was handed to the carrier, or the product was bought, or the label was issued and used) is refunded only in the cases listed below.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"2\">2. Cancelling a shipping request<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Before the label is issued:<\/b> the shipment is cancelled and the amount refunded in full, and your parcels return to your account in the same condition.<\/li>\n<li><b>After the label is issued and before it is handed to the carrier:<\/b> we cancel the label and refund the amount in full if the carrier allows it to be cancelled (usually within 24 hours).<\/li>\n<li><b>After the shipment is handed to the carrier:<\/b> it cannot be cancelled and the shipping is not refunded. At your request we can try to have the shipment returned or its address changed through the carrier, and you bear the cost of that if the carrier accepts it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"3\">3. Weight and dimension differences<\/h2>\n<p>If the chargeable weight at the receiving center is less than what you paid, we refund the difference automatically to the same payment method. If it is greater, we tell you the difference and do not charge it before you approve, and you may cancel the order and recover everything you paid.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"4\">4. Order It for Me requests<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>The product sold out or its price rose before purchase:<\/b> we send an updated quote or an alternative, and you may cancel and recover the amount in full including the service fee.<\/li>\n<li><b>After purchase:<\/b> the service fee is non-refundable because it is payment for work done, and the product price is governed by the store's return policy: we arrange the return with you from the receiving center within the store's window for an arranging fee of <span class=\"num\">$15<\/span> per parcel, and whatever the store refunds to us reaches you in full after deducting what the store withholds for return or shipping fees.<\/li>\n<li>A product that arrived exactly as you ordered and that you then refused or left at the receiving center is governed by the storage and abandoned-parcel clauses in the <a href=\"\/en\/terms-of-service\/\">Terms of Service<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"5\">5. The Instant Shipping Label<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You may cancel the label and recover the amount in full within <b>24 hours<\/b> of issuing it, as long as it has not been scanned by the carrier and the box has not been collected.<\/li>\n<li>After the carrier collects the box the amount is not refunded, and the loss and damage clauses below apply to it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"6\">6. What is not refunded<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Optional insurance fees after the shipment has been handed to the carrier.<\/li>\n<li>The return arranging fee, once the parcel has been handed to the carrier.<\/li>\n<li>Storage fees due under the terms.<\/li>\n<li>Government fees, customs and VAT in the destination country, because we do not collect them and they never reach us.<\/li>\n<li>Return or re-shipping fees caused by a wrong address, refusal to accept delivery, not answering the carrier, or refusal by customs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"7\">7. Lost or damaged shipments<\/h2>\n<p>We follow every shipment to your door, and if something goes wrong, this is what we do together:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tr>\n<th>Case<\/th>\n<th>When to tell us<\/th>\n<th>What we need from you<\/th>\n<th>Compensation<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>The shipment arrived damaged<\/td>\n<td>within <b>7 days<\/b> of delivery, and before you discard the box and the packing<\/td>\n<td>Photos of the box from the outside, the packing, the damaged product, and the purchase invoice<\/td>\n<td>Up to the declared value if insurance was active, otherwise the carrier's limit <span class=\"num\">$100<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>The shipment did not arrive<\/td>\n<td>after <b>10 business days<\/b> from the end of the estimated window with no tracking update<\/td>\n<td>Nothing \u2014 we open the claim with the carrier on your behalf<\/td>\n<td>As in the row above, plus a refund of the shipping fees<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Contents missing<\/td>\n<td>within <b>7 days<\/b> of delivery<\/td>\n<td>Photos of the box and the contents as they arrived<\/td>\n<td>Compared against the receiving center's photos taken before shipping; whatever is proven to have left us and not arrived is compensated as above<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<ul>\n<li>The carrier's investigation usually takes 15 to 60 days, we keep you informed, and we pay you the compensation within 10 business days of it being approved.<\/li>\n<li>Not compensated: prohibited and restricted items, anything declared at a value contrary to the truth, product defects from the store, damage resulting from packing you asked us to leave as it was, and anything caused by the recipient or by customs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"8\">8. Delay<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Delivery times (7\u20139 business days for Economy and 5\u20137 for Express) <b>estimates<\/b> start from when the shipment is handed to the carrier, and may run longer because of customs clearance, weather, peak seasons or the carrier's own circumstances; these are outside our control and no cash compensation arises from them.<\/li>\n<li>What we do undertake: to follow the shipment and escalate with the carrier as soon as tracking stops, to tell you of every development, and to open a loss claim if the delay exceeds the window in clause 7.<\/li>\n<li>As for a delay in preparing the shipment <b>Inside our receiving center<\/b> after you have paid, that is our responsibility: if the shipment is not handed to the carrier within 5 business days of payment for a reason that is ours, you may cancel it and recover the amount in full.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"9\">9. Shipments returned or refused by customs<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>If the carrier returns the shipment because of a wrong address, because you could not be reached, or because you refused delivery, we take it back at the receiving center and the return fees are charged to you, and you may re-ship it at a new price.<\/li>\n<li>If customs refuses the shipment or destroys it because of its contents or because documents were missing on your side, neither the cost of the goods nor the shipping fees are refunded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"10\">10. How a refund is made and how long it takes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The amount is refunded to the same payment method (card or Apple Pay) within <b>5 to 10 business days<\/b> of the refund being approved, and it may take extra time to appear on your statement depending on your bank.<\/li>\n<li>At your request the amount can stay as credit in your account to use on a future shipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"11\">11.
