Customs and tax in Mexico
Parcels arriving from the US benefit from the USMCA: up to USD 50 no duty or tax, from USD 50 to 117 a flat 17%, and from USD 117 to 2,500 a flat 19% that includes VAT (rules in force since January 2025). The carrier collects the amount before delivery; the goods description must be specific (no “gift” or “miscellaneous”) or the parcel is delayed. We prepare the clearance paperwork free of charge, and your purchase invoice travels with the shipment from the moment it leaves.

Since March 2025 the parcel must carry the Mexican recipient’s RFC and CURP numbers (or a passport number for foreigners); add them to your shipment notes and we put them on the paperwork.
